The vibraphone is not usually heard as a solo instrument, so this recital by master Dutch percussionist Arnold Marinissen, featuring works written in the 1980s and 1990s, is a rare treat. Marinissen has made many recordings with groups such as the Schönberg Ensemble and the Netherlands Wind Ensemble, and also plays regularly in a number of Dutch orchestras.
